share of Pubs where you can hear live
music nightly, Matt Molloy's of "The

Shop till you drop, in the many craft,
gift and clothing shops in town. Many of
the products are hand made locally.
The local leisure centre, houses a public
swimming pool and gym. Although if you
prefer swimming in the sea there are
several blue flag beaches near by.

fishing, boats are easy to hire on a daily
or weekly basis.
For those interested in walking there are
many mountain, coastal and nature trails,
offering something for everybody. There is
also a pedestrian walk to the
sea-shore.
Perhaps the most famous of all is "Croagh
Patrick", Irelands "Holy mountain"
which sees 25,000 people climb it on reek
Sunday.

are two golf courses for those carrying
clubs with them.
